Was driving thru town starving. Found this amazing restaurant. So cute inside and can really tell they care about setting the atmosphere. Ordered the burrito, it was huge and delicious. I didn’t know I would get chips and salsa but that is the best salsa I have ever had hands down. Wish I lived in this town so I could be a View all feedback.
What Elle Pee doesn't like about Jalisco's Taqueria 2:
I had previously given this place 5 stars because it WAS so good. Well they since closed down and then re-opened in 2023. I'm assuming it has new owners but definitely new management. The menu is completely different than it use to be, definitely different from other Jaliscos locations. The food is not good, simply put. The prices are outrageous for what they are serving. $14 for a torta? That's nuts. View all feedback.
Food is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful as well in regards to menu choices. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a great meal at a reasonable prices.
Two of us ate $53. Had to order at the counter and they brought the food to the table. Didn't expect that. Would rather sit in comfort and look at the menu. Hours after getting home I wasn't feeling well
The worst place to eat in Giddings. Food was terrible, only have bottled sodas, ac doesn't work and they give you plastic utensils to eat with(can't even cut your food). You have to surve yourself. They set your food on the counter for you to come and get it. They DO NOT come to your table. Inorder to order your meal and drink you have to go to the register. This is NOT a kid friendly place either. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!Replying: It's not an accommodation for breakfast items when it's on your menu and I even asked before ordering if yall do surve that item all day. I was informed by the lady at the register (who was extremely nice) that yall do surve the item all day. Yes yall brought the plates to the table but only because they were to hot to touch. Yes I did ask for togo boxes (doggy bags for my four dogs) but that's only because I spent over $100. No where on the menu, receipt (which I do still have) or online does it say your not a full service facility.
I was passing through town and feeling really hungry when I stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant. The interior is charming, and you can truly see that they put thought into creating a great ambiance. I ordered the burrito, which was both huge and incredibly tasty. I also didn't realize that chips and salsa would come with it, and I've got to say, that's the best salsa I've ever tasted—no contest. I really wish I lived in this town so I could be a regular here!
Their lemonade with small chunks of cucumber floating in it is absolutely fantastic!
