we came before dinner at 3:30. it was empty. the waiter offered us a drink, but no idea if there is a happy hour. there were also no prices for drinks (except beer). eating came hot and everything was right. the mebu is quite extensive. the personal was pleasant. would eat again there. On Friday to noon with a small group of people stopped. You have enough parking and a nice clean restaurant. One side eats, the other is the bar area. The selection is varied with classic steakhouse cuisine dominated. A large and well filled salad bar tried some of us. I enjoyed her steak salad, which cooked a generous salad portion with a delicious steak topping to order. My friend had the chicken salad, which was also a large part and quite delicious. Another friend swallowed the Ribeye Steak and it was delicious. We cut it off with a piece of cheesecake that serves two or more....scrumptious! Prices are appropriate for quality and service was attentive. I'll be back when in Giddings, and I recommend you look at it.
My friends took me for my birthday. My first time there. It was delicious. They have a Prime Rib special on Sunday that I highly recommend. Their Margaritas are excellent also.
Surprisingly this little town has a great steakhouse. The chicken fried steak was huge, but it didn't come with mashed potatoes and country gravy. My steak was perfectly cooked medium. Fresh veggies and great service...you must try this place.
Amazing, truly 5 stars. The food was top notch. The wait staff was very polite and responsive (thank you Andrea). I wish that I lived closer to this city to visit Santa Fe Steakhouse more often. We split The Farmer dish, a meal of 3 meats, side dishes, soup, and the most amazing rolls and butter.
I was surprised! It didn't look like much on the outside and honestly we've driven past it so many times we didn't even know it was open! But, this time we stopped and I'm glad we did. The food was great, everything cooked right and well seasoned. The music wasn't so loud you couldn't hear the table, there was ample seating. Parking can be a challenge though, the spaces are small.
