City Meat Market - Giddings

This is a fantastic spot for local BBQ. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was both nostalgic and welcoming. I highly recommend trying the brisket and chicken!

We've been passing through Giddings for a few months now and finally decided to stop at this restaurant. It was definitely worth it! The barbecue was fantastic—especially the brisket, pork ribs, and delicious sausage. We also really enjoyed the barbecue sauce. We'll definitely be making this a regular stop in the future!

In Giddings, TX, City Meat Market offers some of the best smoked meats you can find. My wife and I took my mom there to celebrate Mother's Day and exchange gifts, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was incredible, the staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. My mom had brisket and chicken, my wife chose ribs, and I enjoyed brisket, sausage, and pork, along with a side each. We had plenty to eat for about $83. I really should have snapped a photo because the portions were generous. Honestly, for top-notch smoked meat in Texas, you can't beat small-town gems like City Meat Market. I highly recommend it, especially if you're a BBQ lover like me.

The BBQ was quite good. The brisket was pretty moist but a little fatty. The sausage was good but it's the type of sausage that falls apart and doesn't stay solid when you cut it. No beef ribs. Also would have liked to have known how much the items were prior to ordering. They just had a sign but no prices.

Kinda of busy this morning. It seemed to be more talking than serving....the brisket today was super dry and sausage was as well. Ribs and chicken were perfect...
