This was an unexpected gem. We headed here straight off the ferry and were not expecting such excellent Thai food on the Sunshine Coast.I had the pad sea iew, which is one of my favorite Thai dishes, it was ridiculously good. We also got their ginger beef and the cashew nut chicken, they were both delicious. Everyone was super impressed with the food. We also got their Thai coffee and Thai tea both blew us away but the Thai tea was unbelievable. Such amazing flavors and so refreshing. Both the tea and coffee were iced with condensed milk, so good. The service was a tad slow, but was in a random time of the day and only one server working. She was lovely and even brought the tea used in the Thai tea so we could see what brand it was. The food came out blazingly fast so all was forgiven.Highly recommend checking this out if you're on the coast.
Some of the best Thai food I've had since coming to Canada. Very authentic Thai run restaurant. Will definitely be going back before we head home.
I have been here quite a few times to have the lunch special. Year after year it continues to be great value, and the food is always really good. The staff are always very friendly (living up to the name! and you never have to wait long for food.
Good food. Fast, friendly service. Only issue is extra chilies are $5 which would never happen in Thailand. Like charging for tap water at a restaurant in Canada. I would go back as the food was decent. Almost as good as All Thaied Up in Sechelt andbetter than the old Absolutely Thai.
