I placed an order through Grubhub, and the wings I received were dry, with no celery or blue cheese included. Additionally, there were no options on Grubhub to select a wing sauce. The 5 lobster ravioli I ordered for $21 were insufficient in size, tasted like they were frozen, and there was no bread or salad included. The chicken and shrimp entree, priced at $18, had a laughably small portion. The total for my meal was over $80, and I feel completely ripped off.

During my visit, it wasn't busy enough to fully gauge the vibe, but my first impression was that it felt like a cozy town corner bar. The first dish I tried from the menu was the loaded fries. They were good, but the presentation left something to be desired; it looked messy, and the bacon bits were somewhat hidden under the caramelized onions. My wife had the wings, and I appreciated the option to choose between breaded and naked. The hot sauce tasted more like black pepper than chili peppers, which is just an observation, not a criticism. If you're a fan of roast pork, you definitely need to try it. The long hots, horseradish, and some of the au jus really elevated my first experience at LOCAL.
