Local Kitchen - Gibbstown

Bartender was super nice, welcoming and attentive. Food was super hot from the kitchen and tasted amazing. Great place.

I was there for the first time and had only the wings. They were fleshy and delicious! The service was good and would definitely go back. I found my new place near home.

Disappointed, will not order from here again. Ordered by Grubhub, wings came dry, no celery or blue cheese, and no options on Grubhub to order a wing sauce. 5 lobster ravioliis, which cost $21, portion was too small for this price, tasted like they were frozen, and no bread or salad came with. Chicken and Shrimps Entree portion for $18 was a joke. Total cop was over $80 and I feel like I was robbed.

I liked the exterior and the inside bar is a decent size wrap, it was not enough at the time that I was there to get an idea of the vibe, but the first impression is small town corner bar. The first item from the menu I tried was the loaded pommes. Good frits, but presentation left much to wish, only a mess with a few lardons of bacon that are disguised by caramelized onions. My wife had the wings and it was nice to have a choice between baked and naked, the hot sauce is more like black pepper than chili pepper, a reference point not a criticism. If you are a fan of roast pig, this is a must try. Long hots, horses and some of the au jus redeemed my first experience at LOCAL.

Nice little place in the middle of the neighborhood... Good Food and COLD Beer along with great service.
