Ayuno - Ghent

I have been aware of this shop for as long as I can remember, at least since the 1990s. I used to frequent this shop often when I worked in the area. I recently revisited and found that it is a medium-sized shop that offers a variety of vegan products such as milk drinks, cheeses, bread spreads, cereals, and more. While it is not exclusively vegan (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5), they still have a good selection of vegan options.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 25 years now. The new managers are incredibly helpful; if they don't have something in stock, they will do everything they can to order it for you. I accidentally dropped a bottle of essential lavender oil and offered to pay for the damage, but they reassured me and said I had chosen a nice scent. I felt relieved and grateful to have been a customer here for so many years.

The restaurant is a spacious establishment with a wide variety of sweet and savory snacks that I enjoy. They also offer fresh produce, a selection of vegan products, and a deli counter with savory items available for takeaway, including tofu-sausage rolls.
