What an amazing place! I didn’t have enough time to fully explore everything because it’s so vast. The bus tour was definitely worth the money, and our driver was very nice, while the guide was both knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend that everyone takes a few days to truly experience it all, if possible. I can’t wait to go back for a few days to walk around! View all feedback.
What an incredible experience at this site! The vast size of this battlefield is truly inspiring. Over 70,000 men lost their lives fighting for control over a 24-hectare land related to the issue of slavery. It’s astonishing to learn how far an 8-pound cannonball could be fired—a mile away with a cannon from two hundred years ago. The museum features uniforms, handguns, rifles, and various artifacts that provide a deep insight into the history. I particularly enjoyed the bus tour with our guide; the narration of the battle was both interesting and amusing, revealing many lesser-known facts. To fully explore the entire Gettysburg site, I would recommend allowing at least two days. For convenience, there’s a small cafeteria in the main building. The new museum building, completed in 2008, is very clean and modern. There’s also a nice souvenir shop in the main building. Additionally, there are plenty of nearby hotels, souvenir shops, and restaurants in Gettysburg. This site is a must-visit for history enthusiasts!

We went on the car tour and absolutely loved it! The tour lasted about two hours and is guided by GPS. It’s very informative and provides numerous chances to stop, take photos, and explore up close. The experience made us realize that we want to return to the area and spend more time here, as there are so many different things to see and do. We can’t wait to come back!
I'm not sure why it took me so long to visit this national park. I finally visited on 1 July and enjoyed the rich history. I loved the car tour and found it interesting and informative. After the museum I spent some time in downtown. It was fun and alive! I enjoyed walking around and going out of the different shops.
