There were four of us, an... read more We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed a lovely atmosphere on Saturday night. The live music was fantastic, and the food was even better. There were four of us, and we decided to order different dishes from the menu to share and sample each one. However, after taking a bite of our selections, we ended up wanting to keep our own orders because they were just too good to share! Haha! The club sandwich, Philly cheese sandwich, grinder, and French dip were all excellent! Thanks, Cut River Grille!

This time was the best experienc... read more My friends and I make trips to Higgins Lake every winter, and we always make sure to have dinner and drinks at this restaurant. This time was the best experience we've had so far. We shared several dishes, including Steak Tips, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, a Grinder, Club Sandwich, French Dip, and Philly Cheesesteak, all of which were delicious and served in generous portions. The fantastic selection of drinks, combined with excellent service and great live music, made for a truly enjoyable evening. We're already looking forward to our next visit next year!

Two fo... read more Cut River Grille exceeded my expectations. Our server, Ann, was the highlight. Besides being friendly, Ann made menu suggestions that did not disappoint. Two forks up for the risotto. Other recommendations include bison steak, walleye, and perch. Go ahead and order dessert.Half star taken away for a small kitchen error that was quickly fixed. We walked in and it seemed odd, a bar room to the right and restaurant in the back. It seemed like it needed some updating in terms of the seating to match the rest of the decor. Our server was super nice, but not very good. She didn’t check on my son and I much at all. I had to flag her down for a refill. I inquired if there was cheese on the club because it didn’t list cheese on the menu, but the little photo of it looked like there was cheese. She said no, there’s not cheese on it, I said great! And ordered that. As she’s bringing the food out, she said, hun there is cheese on it, and I asked what kind, she said American and Swiss and I said, yeah, no, I don’t want that. (Not to be rude, but she literally should have checked when I asked if she didn’t know, what server does that? . So I said I don’t want it with cheese. She took it away, I assumed they were just gonna peel the cheese off and I was correct, when it came back it looked messy as all hell. And it was cold. So that ruined my meal. My son wanted a pizza and I told him that was too much just for him, so he ordered the pepperoni naan appetizer for his meal and he said it was way too small. They need an in between size pizza. He said it was ok. We won’t be back, only thing that was nice was the view.
