Yesterday we went to Marcel's Real Blind with friends. So that you can understand my star rating, I'll tell you a little about the evening. For us it was an absolutely great experience. We were a bit skeptical based on the other reviews here, but that completely disappeared during the evening. It must be made clear that this is not about star-quality food in a high-end atmosphere; if you want that, you're in the wrong place here. The location is a bit old, which doesn't bother you at all when you're eating because you're sitting in complete darkness, your eye has no chance of finding a fixed point. The food was good and when you consider that Marcel does it all on his own, it's absolutely worth recognitionI still can't understand how he was able to tell all the guests (24 apart with all the extra requests (vegetarian, lactose intolerant , no pork, no raw fruit etc. . Forget the sometimes unjustified reviews and embark on the adventure of not seeing anything. The dark course is also recommended, it's amazing what our brain can do when one sense is missing
Clear recommendation It's not just eating in the dark, but the overall experiences we had with it. Marcel, he is the boss, blind, cooked and led us through the evening, is a very likeable guy. He told us a lot about his life and we were able to ask all the questions that you might not dare ask a blind person. He answered this very comprehensively, The food was really good and the event was a great experience. Pour wheat beer into a glass in the darkest darkness
