Was Anonym at RealBlind a mag?
the dinner in the dark in fondsheim in the realblind was a very interesting experience. the waiter/Koch is blind and worked before his blinding as a cook. That's what you taste, I honestly wouldn't have expected that delicious. allergies/dislikes were very well received and we had a very nice evening. View all feedback.

Unfortunately, the building has already come down a bit and smells like old bar cold smoke (it was a dance place before). the host was nice and open, but he also let him see that he can also be patty if someone doesn't stick to his rules. It would have been nice if the feel-parkour had been included in the price, because he wasn't particularly exciting now.The eating took place in a completely dark room that you could not watch in the connection. Unfortunately, the room worked a little cool and also not well smelled. the food was good/ok, which can also lie on the atmosphere, and unfortunately not appropriate to the price (42€/person). During eating, you can only concentrate on the taste, because you are distracted throughout by the layers of the host, but they were interesting in themselves. In total, you have to see the evening rather as a co-money information event and less than a romantic restaurant visit with focus on the taste/odor of the food.

A special experience that extends the horizon! we stayed for a 3-course menu too hospitable at marcel, the warm and open minded chef, cook and waiter. after a greeting champagne we spent 2 hours in complete darkness, trying to taste the various dishes and ingredients and to orient us. we were able to listen in a loose exchange to the experiences of marcel, who walks completely open with the thema blind, answers any questions on pleasant art and wise, and thus helps to obtain a better understanding for blind or visually impaired people. on my incompatibility was reliably considered, which worked super on oral communication. thanks for this great experience and still everything good!

A truly unique experience. The chef himself is blind and also handles the service. When making a reservation, you can specify any dietary restrictions or other requirements, which are then taken into account when choosing your pre-selected menu (three or five courses are available). An aperitif at the bar awaits you upon arrival, and then you proceed single file to the restaurant. The meal is truly served in complete darkness. No light from cell phones or smartwatches. You are seated. The table is set. Drinks can be ordered. The food is served, and you have to see (or rather, feel) how to manage with the cutlery (or your fingers) and drinks. Meanwhile, the chef answers all your questions about blindness. With each course, you have to guess what you think you've eaten. The answer is revealed after each course, and you're often quite surprised. Finally, you return single file through the darkness to the light, where you can view the dishes on a screen. The food is (deliberately) simple. No flavor explosions, but it was perfectly fine. The salad was a bit too cold. Overall, a recommendable experience, even though we were initially appalled by the illuminated part of the venue. A former, rather run-down disco. Oh well, you can't see the rest. All in all, a successful evening.

My impression of RealBlind that evening was unfortunately very negative. I had expected a carefully prepared tasting menu, but this was not met. I found the five-course menu to be almost entirely unsalted and flavorless. The Asian noodle salad was unpleasant from the very first bite. In fact, I couldn't manage more than one bite of any of the courses served. The soup (presumably miso) tasted bland. The mozzarella in the tomato and mozzarella dish seemed dry and of poor quality. The main course (chicken and beef with vegetables) was, in my opinion, poorly seasoned and lacked any culinary flair. The dessert (strudel with ice cream) also failed to impress me. In addition, I found the dining room to be very cold. The restrooms did not give me a clean impression, which further negatively impacted my overall experience. I respect the owner's personal story and the idea behind the concept. For me, the quality of the food and the overall experience are paramount when choosing a restaurant. At a price of at least €150 for two people, the value for money is not right in my opinion. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant.
