The staff... read more There was so much we loved, it's hard to keep the review short! The location and grounds are gorgeous- elegantly well-decorated, spotless, and quiet. The staff is amazing- especially the Werners. You can tell how hard they work to make everything perfect. The food was exceptional, truly, and worth a visit even if you aren't staying there. The rooms were large and comfortable, with a little sitting area in the back terrace. There's even a cute stray cat that sticks around for treats.Our only regret is not staying longer. There were only a couple of very small things that I would have changed... and regardless, I would still go back. There is no coffee in the room- you have to get up in the morning, get dressed, and go downstairs to use the pod machine in the lobby. There was also no creamer. The veal medallion at the other restaurant was dry, but given that everything else was excellent, we didn't bring it up. Lastly, at Werner's, there was a large party of people talking loudly, which overshadowed our superb meal. Given there was only 3 tables, it would have been nice to have been seated in another room so we could enjoy the meal.

And I must say, both times I was absolutely thrilled by the stunning location, the relaxed yet professional team, the delicious food, and the phenomenal view of the valley. For a stylish wedding, Eberstein Castle has been a top choice for many years. It's always a joy to be there.

The cuisine in the cast... read more Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere. Very attentive and courteous service. The staff are very helpful. The rooms could use a renovation. The cuisine in the castle tavern could be improved. The gourmet restaurant is excellent. Unfortunately, there are no special offers for regular customers.

The Christmas decorations we... read more We chose the room meal package at the restaurant, which was a good deal. The château is well situated with a view of the vineyards. The Christmas decorations were lovely. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet. Apart from a small room near reception, there isn't a relaxation area, which is a bit of a shame. The simple breakfast was below what one would expect in this type of establishment.
