My personal highli... read more The Schleusenhaus is one of my favorite places in the southwest: the food and drinks are high quality, delicious, and very reasonably priced. My personal highlight – and the reason it's one of my favorite places – is Rainer, the owner, and his diverse clientele. The place itself fosters a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere – it's easy and I really enjoy connecting with people. That's why I happily cycle the 35km from Karlsruhe to the Schleusenhaus – I'll be back again soon!

It doesn't always ha... read more We're frequent guests at the Scheusenhaus and we love the Palatinate cuisine. The entire team is super friendly, and the food is delicious. It doesn't always have to be an endless menu; what matters is the quality, and there's nothing to complain about at the Schleusenhaus. We're delighted that the new tenant, Rainer, who is also very friendly, has extended the opening hours. It's great that such places with reasonable prices still exist.
