The ambience was very pleasant and welcoming, as were the staff who insisted I take a shot of ouzo while I waited. The food itself was delicious and priced reasonably, given the...quantity. I'd very much like to try eating in at the restaurant itself sometime soon. Having recently moved here I'm sure it will quickly become a regular stop. Would definitely recommend.

The place looked run-down: dirty, sticky tables, the pl... read more It was our first visit to this restaurant, and we chose it based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The place looked run-down: dirty, sticky tables, the placemats were covered in stains, and the windows in the conservatory (where we sat) clearly hadn 't seen a cleaning cloth in years. My first thought was, If the dining room looks like this, what must the kitchen be like? The food: lifelessly served with the obligatory lettuce leaf as garnish, like something out of the 80s. The appetizer plate was okay. For our main course, we ordered calamari, and there 's only one thing to say about that—disgusting, absolutely disgusting. The calamari wasn 't cleaned properly, was rubbery, and tasted old and fishy. Inedible—we left it. All in all, not recommended. I just wonder what people usually eat that gives this place such positive reviews?
