The Pie Folks - Germantown

Absolutely fantastic! The "Slap Yo Momma" chocolate cake is simply incredible, and the strawberry and apple cakes are just as delightful. One aspect I truly appreciate about this place is the friendly staff. Plus, if you're unsure about which cake to choose, you can sample half of one flavor and half of another. They also offer cake discs for purchase.

The Pie Folks is hands down the best dessert spot in the city. I've sampled more than half of their menu, and I can't get enough of the Ape Wild Banana pie. I recently tried the Blueberry and Strawberry Rhubarb pies, and they were fantastic. I highly recommend enjoying the blueberry warm and the strawberry rhubarb chilled. Seriously, you won't be disappointed!

It was our first visit to the shop, and we were warmly welcomed by Darryl, who has a fantastic personality! We tried a sample of the "Slap Yo Mama" cake, and it was incredibly tasty. We ordered a wedding cake cupcake, along with pecan, coconut, Java mocha, and a "Slap Yo Mama" chocolate cake. Each of them was absolutely delightful! You know it’s good when it just melts in your mouth… The owner also came out to hand us our order, and she was very friendly. The Pie Folks are truly wonderful people who make amazing cakes!

I got a half lemon icebox and half pecan pie and they were both just wonderful. Lovely owners and nice conversation, too! Can't wait for the Whataburger to be built and see the pies fly even faster off their shelves. This will be a must-stop for me from now on when I'm in Memphis. Thank you, Pie Folks! :

Customer service is great!! I had the slap yo mama pie or whatever it's called and it didn't taste good to me but my boyfriend said it was one of the best pies he ever tasted
