I went to eat on March 4 at night and they gave me some tacos full of jalapeños and I told a man named Daniel that the tacos had too many jalapeños and that we ordered before, the manager who said his name was Daniel didn't have it, he stayed with my nachos and he didn't give me my money back, the worst manager I have ever seen. Food was fresh and delicious! I ordered carry-out so cannot fully rate the service, but the people there were nice and polite.
We frequent La Gula. Have yet to have a bad experience.
I went with my husband on Saturday and the service was bad, we sat at the tables at the bar and it took a while for the waitress to arrive with only a menu and my husband ordered two tortilla soups and it took a while for the waitress to arrive only with a very clueless waitress. I didn't mean anything I just told my husband to take the soup and let's go, very bad attention.
Good food and good service even though they don't wait the tables there. Always had a positive experience.
La Gula Mexicana is a wonderful addition in Germantown! The food was tasty and the service friendly and prompt. And the atmosphere is casual but inviting.My new favorite Mexican place in Germantown!
