Chino’s - Gering
Chino’s
Description
Nestled in Gering, this restaurant serves up a blend of experiences, oscillating between delightful and disappointing. Diners rave about the authentic Mexican flavors and generous portions, particularly praising dishes like pork chili. Many appreciate the friendly staff and efficient service, citing it as a go-to spot for takeout. Conversely, some guests report unpleasant experiences with rude service and cold food, raising concerns about the establishment's overall atmosphere and cleanliness. While the charm of this hidden gem shines through for regulars, the inconsistency suggests varied experiences that may affect future visits. Consider giving it a try, but approach with caution.

I really enjoy their chips and queso. The burgers are just as delicious as In-N-Out's. I absolutely love them.
There was nothing on the menu. Eating was like a disappointment. There was nothing served before the meal.
We are frequent visitors to this fantastic small restaurant. The service is great and the food is excellent. I have never experienced the issues mentioned in a few negative reviews. Everyone is entitled to have a bad day, so I suggest giving it another chance. We always try to support local businesses and are thankful for them being open, especially after so many closures. I highly recommend Chinos and their staff. We are grateful for them.
I will not be returning to this restaurant. They have a television playing ads, one of which is for breastfeeding but in a distasteful manner, showing a naked woman's body. Not a suitable place for children. Price per person is $20-30, food and service rated a 2, and atmosphere a 1.
