Wonda Bake - Geraldton

Had meat and veggie pasties and neither of us enjoyed them very much. Very large ball of fatty meat and frozen veg inside. Disappointed. There was a very large selection of other things perhaps we just selected poorly.

Although most of the items on the menu are good, the meat pies are often very filling. The Asian food is tasty but a bit expensive for the portion size, with the combo consisting of just fried rice and one other dish. The hamburgers were disappointing, lacking in salad and only coming with caramelized onion, a patty, and cheese. Even the "hamburger with the lot" only includes bacon and egg added to the basic burger. The steakburger also lacks salad, but the meat is good. The Meat and Salad rolls are decent, but could use more onion, meat, and less carrot.

We bought and ate lunch here on occassions as there are a few tables and stools . Chaotic queing system, werent sure which queue to line up in. Very busy and looks to be popular with locals and visitors wanting cheaper lunch options. The...vegetarian wrap and pies were nice and fresh. On another day, i had the vietnamese chicken rice paper rolls. The chicken was not breast or thigh meat, but the stuff you would put into oven to heat up

Eating out while traveling can get costly, but this bakery offered a wide selection at an affordable price, making it the perfect spot for a quick and budget-friendly late lunch.

Ordered a choc chip cookie and was either given a different product or they did not specify that there were macadamia nuts inside. This resulted in an allergic reaction, lucky I am not anaphylactic but did cause a bad reaction. BTW cookie was clearly a...few days old and stale.
