The food is delicious and the service is alw... read more The Köstritzer Bierhaus is a real gem in Gera! The decor is beautiful and very cozy – you immediately feel at home. The food is delicious and the service is always top-notch. We moved away a few years ago, but whenever we visit Gera, eating here is an absolute must. We'll definitely be back!

The place is very clean and nicely decorated. The food was truly excellent. The roast beef was freshly prepared and very well seasoned. The side dishes were fresh and delicious. The beer was freshly tapped. All in all, a very good evening. Only one thing really bothered me. Our server that evening seemed very drunk. That's really not nice, and I hope things improve! Despite everything, I still recommend this place and hope that the service improves significantly. 4/5
