The kitchen was ve... read more The location was nice, but the restaurant needs a good cleaning and a fly control device. There is good variety on the menu perhaps too much. The kitchen was very slow. It took just under an hour from our arrival until the food arrived. Some real misses: Calamari. Tough and tasteless. Soggy. Suspect oil wasn't hot enough. Peach Salad. Peaches tasted canned and weren't grilled properly. Awful vinaigrette. What was wonderful: mussels fish and chips catfish chickpea curry They should reduce the menu and stick to what they do well. They also need to stick to the basics. Clean. People were nice.

Very nice patio with view of the lake and island. A chill atmosphere and fresh and clean decor. I had pickerel fish and chips, my friend had veggie burger dinner. Both better than expected. A perfect spot for lunch on a hot summer day while passing through.

The restaurant is situated on reserve land, and there's a designated smoking patio for those who smoke. The view is stunning!

Unfortunately, I was right—what a terrible meal! I ordered the wings, and to my disgust, about 70% of them had feathers still attached. It was enough to make me want to gag. To make matters worse, someone at our table ordered a Caesar salad, and it arrived with Pepsi in it! It had the rim and celery, but instead of dressing, there was Pepsi in the glass. This place is an embarrassment. Everyone involved with this establishment should be ashamed.

You absolutely have to try their edamame; it's the best I've ever tasted—so flavorful and far from just plain salted pods like you find at other places.
