The Golden Buddha - Georgetown

Golden Buddha is Definitely worth a try. Its my go to Chinese takeout when ever I get The cravings for some delicious and tummy filling goodness

My girlfriend and I order a take away from the Golden Buddha from time to time. We have tried a large number of their dishes, however our favourites would have to be the garlic combination, rusty nails (fried shredded beef) and salt and chilli squid. The food is reasonably priced, is always consistently good and prepared quickly.

The restaurant is small and located in a bit of an offbeat location but well worth a try. The food is very nice and very tasty. Staff are friendly and the menu quite extensive.

Nicest Chinese food in town...good size portions the take away containers are always filled to the max. This is the only Chinese take away that ive found that doesn't make you ultra thirsty after youve eaten.

This restaurant was not what I expected after reading some of the reviews. I don't know whether travellers tend to have holiday brain and just like everything they encountered. For my reviews, I am blunt and honest, and on that note, I will be very honest about this restaurant. It is located in a small little street which was very difficult to find. The restaurant is reasonably clean, however, there was no service with a smile. Regarding the food, it is a little overpriced since there is no other restaurant around (demand and supply I guess) but what is disappointing is that the food were not delicious at all and that they were extremely salty. I felt that every bite of my dish, no matter which dish was like taking a spoonful of salt in my mouth. I would not go back here again and I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you are sodium deficient or you have Hyponatremia.
