I had the pleasure of ordering a strawberry organic cake from Shari at 18 Carrot Bakery, and she personally delivered it to my home yesterday. The cake was absolutely delicious and brought a smile to the face of my 96-year-old WW11 veteran father-in-law during our patriotic parade. The restaurant has a spacious dining area with high ceilings and a lovely ambiance. Unfortunately, it was very empty tonight, giving off a ghost town vibe. The portion size of the cake was disappointingly small and overpriced. It would have been a nice touch to offer complimentary samples of the cookies displayed. I am looking forward to visiting the bakery again, located on the square in Georgetown.
While passing by the restaurant, a lady recommended that we try something from their menu. We decided to take her suggestion and ordered a carrot cake to go. Our experience at the restaurant was fantastic, with very friendly staff.
The cheesecakes are amazing. by far is my favorite of the salted caramel toffee cheesecake. Of course, the carrot cake is tasty. if I'm honest, everything I've tried is perfection. I recommend this bakery to everyone!
