Georgetown Saloon
Georgetown Saloon
Description
Tucked into historic Georgetown, this lively hotel restaurant mixes standout comfort dishes and cocktails with uneven execution. Regulars praise the Bavarian pretzel, fish-and-chips, Western burger with garlic-parm fries, decadent cheesecake, and memorable Bloody Marys; bartenders and servers are often warm and fast. Yet guests report long waits, inconsistent food quality, and occasional management lapses — even plastic cups instead of glassware. The atmospheric, slightly eerie hotel setting adds charm for weekend lunches or nights out, but temper expectations.

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a drink or five and socialize with the locals. The bartenders and waitstaff are incredibly friendly. Don’t miss out on the Bavarian pretzel – it's delicious!
Went in for the special fish and chips. Server outside on the patio was super busy but still gave us great service. The fish and chips were really good. I enjoyed it and the cheesecake was amazing. Super think crust with very creamy and yummy filling.
They open at 11 for lunch, and that was perfect timing for us. If you want one of the best **** mary's you have ever had, this is THE place! I ordered the Western Burger with garlic fries. YUM! Delicious. Crispy fries covered in garlic and parm. The burger is one of the best I have had. Worth a drive up from Sac. Great service too.
This restaurant is the perfect spot for a weekend lunch. The food is excellent, and the staff are fantastic! The service is quick, and the conversations are enjoyable.
Georgetown is a lovely destination, and the hotel has a rich history, but unfortunately, the current management falls short. Instead of pint glasses, we were served drinks in plastic cups, and the servers seemed inexperienced, as if it was their first day on the job. Everyone in the restaurant was left waiting for hours for food that never arrived, which made for a very disappointing experience.
