I visited El Nopal three years ago while exploring the caves in Indiana. My husband loved his meal, and I had the chicken tortilla soup, which was the BEST soup I've ever had at a restaurant. We’re in Santa Claus this week, and we’re planning to make a special stop there on our way home just for the soup. I hope they have plenty available on Friday because I intend to stock up!

I go to Mexican restaurants from time to time, hoping that I will find something original or authentic, and I am generally disappointed.
