As such, this review is not really specific to El Nopal... rather, it is an indictment of the whole genre of restaurants. I had a plate of seafood tacos, which was disappointing. My husband loved his meal, and I had the chicken tortilla soup, which was the BEST soup I've ever had at a restaurant. We’re in Santa Claus this week, and we’re planning to make a special stop there on our way home just for the soup. I hope they have plenty available on Friday because I intend to stock up!

We've given it multiple chances to see if it was just a one-time issue, but lately, the poor service has been consistent. The Corydon location is much better—though it’s a longer drive, it’s worth it.
