I go to Mexican restaurants from time to time, hoping that I will find something original or authentic, and I am generally disappointed. I so wish that US consumers of Mexican food could understand that rice, beans, and melted cheese are not served with every Mexican dish... rather, Mexican food is nuanced and sub
I visited El Nopal three years ago while exploring the caves in Indiana. My husband loved his meal, and I had the chicken tortilla soup, which was the BEST soup I've ever had at a restaurant. We’re in Santa Claus this week, and we’re planning to make a special stop there on our way home just for the soup. I hope they have plenty available on Friday because I intend to stock up!
Food was good alot of it for the price. The churros was dry and wasn't that good.
We used to really enjoy coming to this location, but the service has been declining. We've given it multiple chances to see if it was just a one-time issue, but lately, the poor service has been consistent. The Corydon location is much better—though it’s a longer drive, it’s worth it.
