With generous portions, delicious flavors, and friendly staff, this place has been a staple for many locals over the years. While service may have been lacking at times due to understaffing, the overall dining experience was well worth it. This was my first experience at a place that didn't quite live up to the hype. It came highly recommended by a guy who produces PBS shows about Texas. I know it's a local favorite, but maybe I should have spent more than just $3.19. It is what it is.
The enchiladas were delicious, and the prices were reasonable as well. The staff was friendly.
The food was good, the cleanliness of the establishment was not. I may try again in a few months, but based on other reviews and long time locals I think this place is a hard pass. Definitely needs a deep clean and a coat of paint. Parking: Small, but free parking lot behind the restaurant.

We have had consistently good experiences here through the years. Nothing fancy, but good food and good service. We keep going back, despite all the other choices in Georgetown these days.
