My coworkers and I had a reservation for 12 noon and were seated promptly. We were excited to try a Burmese restaurant as they are rare in the area. Although we were not in a hurry, the restaurant seemed to be rushing us. We ordered drinks and they immediately wanted us to order our food as well. We decided to wait until our drinks arrived before ordering our food. We chose the Burmese-style beef and goat stew, as well as the Moh Hin Ga (Fish Noodle Soup). While the sauces in the meat stews were decent, the meat itself was tough and not very tender. If you enjoy chewy meat, then these dishes might be for you. The Moh Hin Ga lacked flavor and one of my coworkers said they would not order it again. The soft drinks and iced tea were refilled for free. Overall, due to the rushed service and mediocre food, we will not be returning. Despite their high Yelp ratings, it seems like many patrons enjoy the restaurant. Perhaps we just caught them on a bad day or their usual chef was not working that day.
We enjoyed our meal here very much. We had a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. Even though we all requested different spiciness levels, everything came out exactly as requested. The service was exceptional. We were able to have a conversation without being interrupted, but we never had to wait for service and our water glasses were never empty. We will be going back, and recommending this restaurant to our friends.
