The Carrot cake is phenomenal, which is good considering the bakery's name. I picked up an assortment for a family celebration and ALL of it was good. The chocolate chip cookie, despite being the size of a dinner plate, was perfectly cooked and tasted great. The strawberry cake was light and refreshing, very moist. What Erica V doesn't like about 18 Carrot Bakery:
This place is yummy for sure! But twice my family and I came here for cinnamon rolls on Sunday (Mother 's Day and another Sunday) around 10:30, and they didn 't have any cinnamon rolls ready. The second time we came, my two year old walked toward the tables that were set for tea and someone (owner/manager/I don 't know) came running at him yelling at me don 't let him touch that! Seriously delicious carrot cake! It is moist and tender with lots of flavor and not overly sweet. I am already looking forward to our next trip to Georgetown so I can enjoy another slice of 18 Carrot carrot cake.
My husband wanted to purchase the Fresh squeezed lemon cake for my birthday on Saturday. The person at the counter said she didn 't know what he was taking about. She said they have a lemon cake made with organic lemons. He told her the website has a fresh squeezed lemon cake. Anyway... he decided to purchase four pieces of the lemon cake in the display. I was so looking forward to a delicious lemon cake on my birthday. Unfortunately, I was sadly disappointed. Everyone agreed it was like eating sawdust. I have never tasted a cake so dry in my life. There was very little lemon flavor. Perhaps the cake was old and had been sitting in the display cake for a while. All around disappointing.
Everything we tried here was delicious and fresh. You can tell it’s all baked from scratch with quality ingredients. So yummy!
They had the yummiest carrot cake. All of my friends said they didn 't want cake, but when I came back to the bar with 18 Carrot Bakery 's carrot cake, everyone was all over me like, Please Jules can I have more of your cake?! At first, I thought being selfish would be best. Then, I had a change of heart because there 's no way you can be mean with that carrot cake in your tummy. It 's now been scientifically proven. Thank you, 18 Carrot Bakery.
