This is the best Japanese restaurant on the island. I'd happily enjoy any meal there, whether I were a lawyer, a Bitcoin minister, or a wealthy housewife. It's truly amazing! View all feedback.

We went here on our last day in the Caymans and although the service was wonderful the food was very underwhelming. We ordered the ceviche, the ramen and a roll. In the pine carlton is the sushi with fresh, caught selections delicious. great ambiente and service.
Come here for the service and vibe. very nice for a special occasion. got the daimyo (sushi for 2) which was filling, but as other have mentioned, the rolls have too much sauce (esp the mayo). the fresh wasabi is a nice touch. The green tea tree dessert is gram worthy but would probably try the cheesecake next time if going for taste. pretty good sake selection. green tea with rose was excellent.

Went here for Omakase dinner with a group of friends, the food was great, drinks were ok but service was really slow. We were sat at a booth which made it really hard for servers to clear our table and we had to hand the plates for them to clear after every course. The drinks came out really slow (took about 30 mins for first drink to come). We also ordered a bottle of sake which was being chilled in the fridge but the server never refilled our drinks unless asking them directly. After dinner we waited about 45 mins to get the bill which was only after asking them twice. The food was really good and the fresh wasabi was great as well. In the end the manager did agree the service was slow and provided us with free miso soup and a round of drinks. Given this restaurant is in the Ritz-Carlton we would have expected the same level of service but unfortunately fell short.
Food was good, but service does not meet the standard. Service was slow, everything took longer than expected. Can’t say the experience was positive after dropping .
