Coconut Joe's Grill - George Town

This place is a treasure. Simple, but totally professional. Great menu, plus they serve breakfast til 2p! Highly recommend the Fully English breakfast. On our 2nd visit, our awesome server suggested the Coconut Cream French Toast. WOW. Off the charts delicious.

I visited this restaurant in September 2022. They make some of the BEST fish tacos I’ve ever tasted… The grilled fish is seasoned very well! I can’t do heat (spicy) but they’re not too spicy and the lemon wedge and sour cream cut the heat down to a nice flavorful balance. The fruit punch, made with various fruit juices is quite tasty!! I’d highly recommend this place!!

Chill, walk-in from the street, atmosphere. Servers were attentive and fast. All the meals were huge and served very hot! Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.

Staying at Marriott. Walked over here and had a lovely filling breakfast burrito. The coffee was a little small so I wouldn’t get that again. The food was tasty and our server was really nice. They even changed the music to some reggae at my request which was nice. Overall, and excellent spot for a bite. Went back the next day and “joes breakfast” is an even better option avocado toast with perfect poached eggs.

It's lasted for years, as a repeat visitor every few years this restaurant is always here. It was across the street so we adventured in for lunch one day, drinks another evening and dinner another night. It has friendly service, good food and all outdoor seating.
