The worst New year eve experience ever! A management with questionable service. Can’t even handle a coatcheck. Thy will keep your coat without numbers underneath the stairs. Quest list not alphabetical order. Neither thy will make the length to have enough chairs for all guests. Don’t go to the bathroom, you can lose you’re seat! An for that price of 140 euro per person! Food mediocre/price value, I suggest your local “frietkot” for a better experience. Even the reservation call was arrogant and unprofessional. Just a sad sad culinary experience. Something hopefully missed by next year. You’re welcome... never again I guess thy are spending more on positive reviews then on chairs.

The menu consists of 4 savory courses, 2 dessert courses, a couple of amuse bouche, and warm, freshly baked bread served with butter and compound butter. The dishes are creatively prepared using local, fresh ingredients and are presented beautifully. The wine and beer selection may not be extensive, but it is more than sufficient for a casual or formal meal. Be sure to check out the upstairs bar as well, where the skilled bartenders craft excellent cocktails. They are constantly coming up with new and exciting drinks to try. We thoroughly enjoy dining at Volta and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Gent.
