This is a fast-food take-away place. When we were there, they seemingly were either almost sold-out or not ready with their preparations there wasn't much choice for toppings/salad. We took two different falafel sandwiches, one with one punch and one with potato and tomato sauce. $10 together. The falafel was made fresh and fast. The food was super hot and we got another hit. But one sandwich is all vegan. Here we go. == sync, corrected by elderman ==
Almost vegan, beautiful mercenary sandwich, a lot of choice.
This place has been my sanctuary for years, because, while Ghent has lots of vegan options, all of them are overpriced/expensive. This place has had stable prices since forever (5 euro for falafel and salad bar Also offers other Egyptian inspired (vegan) dishes. Only one option isn’t vegan, all are vegetarian. Friendly service, clean interior. You can eat there, but also perfect to take away if you don’t wanna cook.
Small basic but cosy snack bar with top quality falafel, very affordable. Love the wholemeal, homemade bread they use. I’d go for the more culinary versions with garlic sauce or eggplant. Owner is so kind!
