The online menu displays several options with the gluten-free logo, but the one that it has given in the restaurant has no additional information. But if they ask the staff, they are very well informed about cross-contamination and clearly explain what GF is. They even serve a GF-marked bungalow with your appetizers. I had the grilled steak (without sauce) and fries that were really great. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Café René:
Kinda expensive for what it was. I had a salad and it was very much not worth it. Also the staff were a bit pushy to get us out of the restaurant even though it was only 10.30 ish. View all feedback.
Good food and cozy location. Very nice plate presentation and great service.
Typical Belgian qualitative Brasserie with Parisian vibes. Impeccable service; top price quality balance and one of the best terraces in Ghent. Would definitely recommend.
Delicious food, relaxing ambience, excellent menu and very attentive staff. If you are in Ghent, give this restaurant a try
Nice brasserie/restaurant with a terrace. It 's a busy area so enough to see. I had Steak Tartare prepare it yourself 't was very nice. My wife had Caesar salad and was less happy: too much vinaigrette sauce, and a few more wedge potatoes would have been nice. Quality for price is OK.
The staff is very nice and the serving is also very quick. Nice seating arrangement both inside and outside. The food is delicious, except I ordered a medium done stake and it was rather ****
