What Assia De Santis doesn't like about Da Chan:
The food is ok but I don't recommend to go at all. J waited 1 hour and a half for a kung pai chicken. And they bring it after I asked 3 times. I had 4 tables came afte4 me and they were served before me. We had 3 entrance and main course and my mom had a second main course. My mom finished the second main course I was didn't recive the entrance. And they forgot also we had desert. This is only the main points. The pe... View all feedback.
A pretty average Italian Chinese restaurant like many others. The environment is beautiful and the staff is friendly.
Chinese food was pretty good. Every intake of food from other cultures such as Vietnamese needs some work. The chips were too long on the table and a bit stale. But the Japanese roles were excellent and fair to size. For about 10 € each (drinks extra). Spicy dishes were also quite good and indeed spicy. The nameshake fried rice was my favorite.
The menu says everything you can eat, but this is reserved only for locals. We were calculated for 4 meals when the waiter told us it would be cheaper to pay only for what we ate (corresponding to 1 starter, two sides and two nets between 2 adults and 2 children), but we were not given the opportunity to order more food, but still charged, all you can eat! Some locals tried to help and confirmed what we were told, but the restauranter just went back to what she had said! So terrible service and very mediocre food! Avoid if you are a tourist, as I think they use it confusing menu to take advantage and tear you out!
Good food and not expensive. The stuff is very friendly. After 20h his completely empty and beautiful. Please visit
I went here twice on my trip to Genova. Chinese food seems to be abundant in Italy. Not sure what the bad reviews are about because both times the food was very good. Not to mention cheap! Extensive menu of Szechuan and Cantonese dishes. The first time special fried rice, seriously good kung pao chicken and a beer came only to 12 euro, way better than the typical touristy trattorias where you might pay 8 euro just for some gnocchi with sauce with nothing else on it, and that's just the pasta. Vibe, service and everything else were perfectly adequate. The second time I went I had the Szechuan beef, a little more expensive and SERIOUSLY hot with loads of cabbage and Szechuan pepper, very authentic. Nice setting upstairs just off the Piazza De Ferrari.
