Th... read more We went straight from the Christmas market to the Schatull restaurant for a meal. We hadn't been there in a while, but unfortunately, it was a huge mistake. The food was a disaster – disappointing in terms of taste, to put it simply, canteen-level. They use a lot of pre-made products, like ready-made sauces, etc. The price-performance ratio is completely outrageous! As nice as the ambiance is, the interior is practically suffocating in dust and grime ........ . The restaurant desperately needs a deep clean We were also very disappointed with the service. The waitress seemed bored and clearly didn't want to serve the guests. The owner also came across as very arrogant; she didn't even ask if we wanted anything else. They no longer accept debit card payments, only cash. Our conclusion: The Schatull has definitely seen better days in terms of food quality, service, and cleanliness! Unfortunately, we absolutely cannot recommend it anymore, which we personally find very regrettable.
