What User doesn't like about Octopus:
The octopus was very disappointing. I ordered the caviar as starter. The caviar itself was a great product but served with industrial blinis overcooked in the microwaved and stone hard. When sent back the chief kindly apologized and offered a glass of champagne what was a nice gesture but then served the same poor quality industrial blinis directly cold out of the package. We reserved last minute and we were delighted with everything. The food was amazing as well as the service. One of my best birthday dinners. We will for sure come back again.

Very nice place with high quality food The service was very nice but they have been bit slow.
My son invited me to the Octopus restaurant for lunch on Mother's Day. We had a nice round table with a banquet seat. We chose a passion juice spray cocktail that had an excellent taste of passion fruit. The prices of cocktails in general were also appropriate according to Geneva standards. For beginners we had scallops with artichoke cream (Saint-Jacques Snackées, Lard de Colonelnata, Trio d’artichaut) and fried baby with mayonnaise and black lemon (Calamaretti frits, mayonnaise citron noir). Both dishes were original, very well presented and delicious. As the main courses we chose a turbot with asparagus (Turbot, Asperges, Salicornes, Sauce cacahuète-miso) and Oktopus wood-fired grill (Poulpe grillé au feu de bois, brocolini, olive leccinol, Tomates séchées, ail) were both good. The highlight was the desert of a Bavarian cream in the form of a small green apple with basil filling (Comme une pomme verte, crème bavaroise, cœur basilic) really tender and unforgettable.
The food wasn't so good, too explosive.
