What Lynda V doesn't like about Les Vignes:
This evening the boss refused to give me cutlery on the pretext that the pizza was an aperitif! He was rude and disrespectful! Never has a restaurant owner spoken to his customers in such a way! I will no longer go to this restaurant! View all feedback.
Top-notch waiter, a boss in the kitchen who masters it perfectly and ultra-fast service at lunchtime. I highly recommend it
This is an extremely unpretentious Portuguese establishment nestled at 15, rue Marignac, where that street dead-ends. It is fairly easy to reach and is only a block away from rue d’Athenee. If you are in the area of Champel, Geneva, this establishment is a m-u-s-t. The menu is very limited indeed but the choices are prepared to perfection, reflecting Portuguese cuisine with its reliance on sauces. We dined here and the sea-food selection—three—were superb. The fillet de perche was served in a delicious butter-cum-lemon sauce. The dorade, gilthead/sea bream was served on a bed of veggies flambeed with anise. The grilled tuna was served with a medley of veggies and served with an innovative pesto-based sauce. The first two come with a salad appetizer, the tuna with an all in one assortment. The wine list, likewise limited offers a good selection of both bottled and opened by the glass. The desert varies from day to today so ask. In good weather there is ample out-door dining.

My son and I stumbled into this restaurant by chance, and sometimes, chance does things well... The boss is as nice as his cooking is good and simple. An unforgettable address, living in Basel, and my son living in the south of France, we will meet with pleasure, for homemade products, just like at home. It's Sunday every day!
Its a place to try , in the heart of Champel , newly renewed and nice design ambiances , I recommend it
