The decor is nice, the staff super friendly and helpful, the tables comfortable spaced out, and the food is amazing. The prawn tempura is light and crispy. We always go for the teppan and have had on different occasions giant prawns, scallops and mixed seafood (prawns, scallops, salmon and squid). The teppan comes with a miso soup, white rice and a generous portion of vegetables also cooked on the teppan, so it is quite filling. The wine selection is good and we really enjoyed the staff’s suggestion. Honkaku is a regular treat! P.S. Honkaku will also do take-away which is a good thing to remember if they are fully booked!

Perfectly cooked and the spicy tuna was fantastic (and really well represented). The ambience and service were both good and a total of 9 out of 10. We will definitely come back!
