In my opinion, this is the best Japanese restaurant in Geneva in terms of quality price (to be in Asia and have tried a variety of Japanese cuisine abroad in Geneva). I brought many of my friends here and visited at least 5 times. Staff have always greeted me with friendly faces and offered a professional service, whether the restaurant is busy or not. What Alizé C doesn't like about Ganash:
Good romantic evening even if long service +2 hours) We came for a romantic evening. We were placed then asked to move, the service was extremely long. We received our starters quickly then the second course took an hour to arrive, a waiter took our dishes to give them to another table, so we had to redo ours. When we explained the problem, the chef was very understandable. We'll come back to see if this is usual or... View all feedback.
Food is okay but overpriced. Nothing extraordinary. I was expecting something better considering the Google rate. Teppanyaki is okay but it's a simple plancha at the end of the day. I was quite disappointed. I was expecting a show and an interaction with the chef. Service is good and people are friendly.
I ate in japanese restaurants in many countries (including Japan) and this one is in my top 3. Quality ingredients perfect cooking fantastic experience. Bravo
Excellent meal, the products are of very good quality. The mixed Teppan-Yaki meat (beef, chicken, pork) is really good.
The value for money is much worse. In the daily menu the 6 makis are replaced by a tiny salad with 4 small pieces of raw fish and the hot dish sees its accompaniment greatly reduced. I find that really unfortunate. Otherwise the hot dish and the miso soup remain very good.
Very good Japanese cuisine. Good products, quite expensive though.
