Very nice and cosy place in the central village of Geneva. Looks like a family run business. Excellent service and good food. Their soups are one of the best and chicken in red curry was out of this world. If you like spicy you should ask them to make it for you. Very difficult to find real spicy food in Geneva. This place can make it but on request only. Otherwise their food is not that spicy but well flavoured. Go... View all feedback.
What Victoire Blin doesn't like about Chiang Mai Thai:
C'était bon, mais clairement trop cher. 170 chf pour 3 personnes, sans dessert, sans café, 1 apéro, 1 soda, 3 verres de vins, 2 entrées. 3 plats. Le bol de riz coute 5 chf, donc bœuf en sauce au curry rouge 32 + 5= 37 chf, trop cher! la salade de papaye 15chf...Le cadre est joli, en vieille ville, musique de fond trop forte, ambiance sonore trop bruyante. Located at the edge of the old town, very close to BelAir, it is a cozy restaurant. The food was rich in flavour and well presented. My vegan vegetables curry with coconut milk and rice was really good! As per many places in Geneva centre is quite pricey, especially if you think about how many good Thai are in London for half the price. However I advise to visit Chiang Mai.
Reserved a table via 'The fork ' and you get 30% off food(not set meals and not drinks). Lovely small restaurant, has a small decked area outside. Lovely staff very attentive, fab food so much to choose from, very tasty. Didn 't leave hungry. It 's located in the old town not far from the lake. Would definitely visit again.
Me and my family who were visiting were strolling around town and came across this small charming Thai restaurant. We had no expectations as we hadn’t looked at any reviews prior to our visit and didn’t know the restaurant before. Once seated by the friendly...personell, we were immediately taken care of regarding drinks and the menu’s. I decided to go with the sweet and sour sautéed chicken and my mother went for a soup with shrimps. The food arrived very quickly which was welcomed by us as we were quite hungry at that point. My dish was exceptional! I was very positively surprised at the quality of the food here! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is in the mood for some Thai food during their stroll through the old town. Thanks for having us!
We were there yesterday for dinner, we reserved a table online which worked perfectly. The location is lovely and the staff was friendly. But the best thing was the food, we had the best fried rice red curry in a long time here. Also...the prices are not the cheapest, but still affordable for Geneva. When I take a trip to Geneva again, I will make sure to pay it another visit.
The service was attentive, kind and good, from the welcome to when we left. The food was good. Unfortunately the restaurant is quite small, and that evening there was a large table of people who spoke loudly. Because of the shape and simple decor...of the restaurant, loud sounds are not absorbed so they bounce off the walls and ceiling. Having a conversation was very hard. It is a shame. I would go back for the food, but the noise level was a huge issue for my friends and I.
