We had an excellent meal at this restaurant. We went with the family on a Sunday morning and it was quite busy but not overcrowded. We were seated promptly and the service was top-notch. The food was exceptional. This is a wonderful spot to visit in downtown Geneva. We will definitely be returning soon! View all feedback.
What hawkeye fighter doesn't like about Egg Harbor Cafe:
I asked for and received a booth. I ordered my food and also asked for a to go container as I knew there would be leftovers. Who in their right mind would sit in a booth for a to go container? I only ordered container up front because the service is slow. Then I get some smerky attitude from the chicks up front!THEN, I DECIDE TO SIT OUTSIDE.OPEN BAG FOR FOOD AND THE IDIOT THAT PACKED MY FOOD THOUGHT I WOULD EATING IT... View all feedback.
The atmosphere was a bit noisy, requiring us to raise our voices to carry on a conversation. However, the food was fantastic and the portion sizes were worth the price. The noise was mainly due to the restaurant being busy. Despite the crowd, my family (a group of 6 with 3 young children) was seated quickly for a late breakfast (around 10am) as soon as we arrived. We will definitely return!
Great service, great food, great atmosphere. I live almost an hour away from this place and it is worth the drive. Geneva is a beautiful city and Egg Harbor Cafe is one of many great places in this town. The folks here go out of their way to make you feel at home. This morning, my wife was feeling a little chilly because she was wearing a sleeveless shirt. The host sat us somewhere that my wife wouldn't be so cold, and then our waitress noticed that my wife was still a bit chilly and she turned off the ceiling fans. It was really nice of them. Our food was delicious as always.
This place is amazing. I've been here three times so far, and each time I've been so happy with what I got. This place is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The amount of options is great for the quality of each item. The first time I went here I got the original Belgian waffle. it was perfectly fuffly, the powdered sugar and syrup were so sweet but not to sweet and helped the waffles so much. I definitely recommend those if you want something simple. The next time I went I got Sam's Swedish pancakes. These were very thin and the lingonberries were amazing. The third time and most recent time I got the San Antonio skillet. Every single ingredient in this skillet worked together so well and was so delicious. I great choice if you can't decide between lunch or breakfast. Now the food isn't even the best part, all of the waiters are so nice and the service was super quick. The price is also great given the quality of the food. The atmosphere is nice as it is never too quiet. Go here the first chance you get.
Excellent service! Very beautiful setting and atmosphere! Very tasty breakfast! Very friendly staff ! We had avocado toast, eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon, lobster scrambler! The food is so good ! It’s highly recommended!
The restaurant now offers a complete gluten-free menu. My daughter, who is gluten-free, was impressed with the extensive list of gluten-free options on the menu. There is no other restaurant in the Fox Valley that can compete with this. Now, she wants to visit every day. This restaurant truly enhances our experience in our hometown of Geneva. The food is always delicious and the service is exceptional. We enjoyed celebrating lunch with a mimosa and a Bloody Mary. The meal was great value for the price. We also appreciate the addition of the call-ahead list, which helps us plan our visits. Thank you!
