Disappointed. Service was very slow, despite there being only six small parties seated while we were there. It took 45 minutes to receive a drink and 90 minutes to get the appetizers. The wine selection was poor, so I opted for a mixed drink, only to see our server go behind the bar to make it—how can a top restaurant not have a bartender? The food was just okay and far from the hype. They talked a lot about the chef, but the pasta I had was unevenly cooked and overly sweet with pieces of pear, lacking balance. As for the ambiance, it’s neither here nor there. They try to present themselves as fine dining, but the atmosphere felt more like Willy Wonka. It just didn’t work.
Setting aside any safety concerns, the event was absolutely wonderful. Esther has an exceptional gift for decor, crafting a charming ambiance full of delightful touches. We opted for the High Tea, which was as beautiful to behold as it was delicious to enjoy. We never felt rushed, and Esther was incredibly attentive, anticipating our needs both before and throughout the event. All in all, we experienced a beautifully elegant and delicious baby shower.
Took my wife here for our anniversary and we were absolutely amazed! The place has a cozy, quiet, and intimate vibe. The specialty coffee drinks were fantastic. The food and desserts were truly outstanding! The staff and waiters were very friendly too. Highly recommended!
I hosted a party at this restaurant for my sister, and it was fantastic! Esther was incredible—she was friendly, professional, and did everything she could to make our event truly special. The food was excellent, and we received many compliments about the party. I highly recommend Primo!
On a positive note, the exclusivity of the restaurant was impressive. I had made a reservation weeks in advance, which was a nice touch. The dessert was outstanding, especially since they are renowned as a chocolate shop. I tried the chocolate flight, and it was fantastic. However, we were taken aback by the bill when we ordered Prosecco and discovered that each glass was priced at $25. While we generally don’t mind spending on quality drinks, this felt somewhat unreasonable. If it weren’t for these two issues, I believe this restaurant would have easily earned a five-star rating and my intention to return. Unfortunately, these missteps have left us feeling disheartened.
