We loved this place it's quiet and feels very private. Can sit outside in the cozy courtyard or inside for fancier feel. The three types of schnitzel there are all amazing, as delicious as they get, chicken, veal and cordon bleu style pork (we went twice to try them all). Soup with pancakes a nice discovery. Potato salad very nice, fermented krautsalat cabbage super yum. Lady waitress friendly and helpful. It was weird that the place was empty at 6 o'clock in the evening Sunday
The restaurant is located on a side street of Linzer Straße, which is a 10 minutes walk from the Technisches Museum and 15-20 minutes from Schloss Schönbrunn. The menu offers all the typical Austrian dishes at moderate prices. The Tafelspitz and Hirschragout were delicious. There is also a good choice of desserts. I would recommend the Apfelstrudel and Schokoladenkuchen. The only point I would criticize is the lack of background music. Overall a good recommendation in this area. Had an excellent dinner with Futterboden. Spacious seating options, both indoor and outdoor. Great service. Wide choices on the menu, even vegetarian/vegan options. Kids friendly choices are available. Interesting wine options including local ones. Rare find and highly recommended.
