Die Preise sin... read more Auch wenn man es in Walbeck allgemein als „Steakhaus“ kennt, bevorzuge ich die klassischen Balkangerichte und das erstklassige Zigeunerschnitzel. Die Preise sind angemessen, das Personal freundlich. Manko: allzu durstig sollte man nicht sein. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Restaurants hört man ein „Darf es noch etwas zu trinken sein?“ hier traditionell eher selten. Wer noch ein zweites Getränk zum Essen oder danach möchte, braucht nachhaltige Eigeninitiative. Die Wartezeiten auf’s Essen fallen gelegentlich etwas länger aus.

But... read more We were there on the second Christmas day, in the evening, for dinner. It was good. Had a table reserved long before what was good because it was very full. But it was enough staff and the service was good, the food was great, we had both Filet Steak. Can only be recommended. If we're back close, we'll be back. The only small point of criticism, but not responsible for it, is that many people don't look more than something special on Christmas and dress up something more fitting, but rather look more like when they just left the couch, and to the staff they could also be more beautiful.

Dishes came... read more Large portions with fries and sauce and that's about it. It was rather packed on a Sunday afternoon. Service was fast but lacked real friendliness. Dishes came within minutes of ordering so no long wait. My steak was ok (a bit lukewarm in the middle). For the price, I'd expect some vegetables or garnish. If you are into 80-style German quantity over quality and a meagre salad bar included, this is your place!
