I had a delightful brunch at this restaurant. The staff was attentive and friendly, with no delays in service. I enjoyed a delicious egg dish and an excellent latte. Disappointing. Remember when this place opened and cared? Now days, it seems the reality of running a cafe has become a little overwhelming. From the ironically named book for sale to the always empty display case (no matter when you visit they 're always waiting on a delivery this spot is finished. Ignore the older reviews (mostly from friends and family . There are plenty of better options within walking distance. View all feedback.
Great local coffee with excellent beans and friendly service. I do love their crumpets and croissants (toasted well if you request). Little hidden gem. Meal type: Breakfast
Waited 30 minutes for an espresso and two batch brew coffees.... There was only us and two other groups dining in. Coffee was burnt and service was rude.
Busy at the time, sat out the back, pretty dirty to be honest. Service was slow but friendly.
