Booked for 7 so we were seated right away, ordered around 7:15, didn’t get main meals til 8:15, didn’t get starters at all, after almost 2 hours of sitting there waiting we left, friend got cold steak, partner got a cold burger, my pasta was beyond spicy despite being seafood linguine which really didn’t need to be that level of spice, I can normally handle spice well. Our starters came out as we were leaving as we didn’t think it should take almost 2 hours for some chips and wedges, we also ordered garlic bread that never arrived and we still got charged for it.

Fantastic venue, vibe and excellent service from all employees. eating is average for good pub food. it is a great value, and a great selection of craft beer on tap.

For the first time I have eaten at this place and highly recommended.

I have been twice in the last three weeks in the maltshovel, once with friends (big experience! and took my fiancée last night to his favorite chicken pamigiana! he is a hard brand and evaluates his 9/10 (just say it could be a few dollars cheaper! huh not too thick, great chips and loved the salat dressing. I had the steak sandwich and it was amazing; juicy meat, ingenious cheese and great taste all around! keep it on young and do not start jumping on the servier sizes and quality, just because so many others are located!
