Highlights include the polenta chips and Gnocchi Arrabbiata. The cozy ambiance and accommodating service make you feel like part of the family. Fresh ingredients, well-priced meals, and quick service create a pleasant dining experience. While the loud music from a neighboring club can be distracting, the overall experience at Denny's Kitchen is delightful. With delicious, uncomplicated food, friendly staff, and great value, this restaurant is a must-visit in Geelong.
The service at this restaurant was fantastic, with comfortable and spacious seating and delicious dishes. Our server, Ruby, was extremely friendly and attentive, checking in on us frequently to ensure we were enjoying our meal. The polenta chips were amazing, the Gnocchi Arrabbiata was perfect, and the special of the day, Prawn sliders, were innovative and delightful. I rarely give a perfect score, but this restaurant definitely earned it. I will definitely be returning with friends to try more items from their menu.
Dennys kitchen has a cosy ambience and the staff really make you feel like you’re a part of the family. Our waitress was very helpful and even spoke to the chef to adjust a menu item to fit a food allergy which was really appreciated. The gnocchi was one of the best I have ever had, the wood fired pizza was delicious and it was obvious that fresh ingredients are used. Wait time was short, drinks were well mixed and everything was well priced. Would recommend anyone in Geelong check out this restaurant for a relaxed, delicious and inexpensive meal.
Denny's Italian food located in the national wool museum, Geelong. Spacious with very relaxed vibes. Free wifi. The barramundi, calamari and salad tasted fresh enough and was overall enjoyable.
Had lunch at 11:50 am here today chose their Ravioli (fresh pasta filled with spinach ricotta, sautéed with mushroom, asparagus watercress) at $22. Seriously it was just okay, flavour was nice but it lacked something to make it a little more moist on the palate. Service provision was great by Deb the waitress who I found to be polite, attentive and efficient. The ambiance was one of a busy venue with the background music at a level that could be heard over although as the eatery became busier around 12:30 pm onwards the music could hardly be heard.<br/ <br/ The Juror's Verdict: Food 3.5-4/5, Service Provision 4.5/5, Will I return: Maybe<br/ <br/ Phill Jury (food critic writer)
The staff were cheerful throughout the evening, which was a pleasant change in the Geelong restaurant scene. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations. The gnocchi was outstanding! I will definitely be returning.
