**Discovering Comfort at Gobblers Restaurant**
Tucked just off I-75 at Exit 270, Gobblers Restaurant is a haven for turkey lovers seeking a hearty, home-cooked meal. The family-owned eatery shines with warm service and a cozy atmosphere, although some miss the charm of its previous location. With a menu primarily focused on turkey dishes, patrons rave about the Gobbler Plate, hot turkey sandwiches, and delectable desserts like carrot cake and pie. While the new location may be slightly less convenient, the commitment to quality comfort food makes it worth the drive. For a taste of nostalgia and gratitude, Gobblers is a must-visit stop.

Traveling from Bay City to Traverse City, we had to stop here for some take-out. We hadn't been in the area since pre-pandemic; so we were dismayed to learn Gobblers of Gaylord didn't survive the covid crisis (we had eaten there numerous times when traveling around Michigan, in the past). Though this location lacks the atmosphere of the Gaylord facility; it is clean, well-maintained and has a comfortable, local eatery ambiance. The staff efficiently processed our order. We left with with several turkey dinners, and several slices of pie (including the one remaining piece of the nicely indulgent raspberry cream pie). We enjoyed several meals/snacks from our take-out, over the next several days, at our lodging in Traverse City; a little bit of Thanksgiving, and a whole lot of memories.
Delicious food that really satisfied my cravings! It was as enjoyable as watching the entire Barbie movie. The flavors were outstanding, making me feel confident and charismatic like Kai Sennat. I even charmed Livvy Dunne—it was truly amazing! Everything was absolutely fantastic.
I had a great time enjoying a traditional turkey dinner outside of November, and everything was delicious! I had heard others rave about the carrot cake, so I had to give it a try—and it truly was the best I've ever had! The raspberry cream pie was fantastic as well. The restaurant is conveniently located just off the freeway, well-kept, and the staff was very friendly.
I had a fantastic experience at this family-owned restaurant! The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The turkey meals were excellent, and I have to say, they have the best carrot cake I've ever tasted! Highly recommend!
Nice quiet, family type atmosphere. Weather was bad the day I arrived. Place wasn't busy. Friendly staff. Very attentive. Even though they specialize in Turkey dinners, I ordered the Beef Burrito. Generous sized portion with added chips around the perimeter of burrito. Plenty of sauce, salsa and sour cream. Came out nice and hot. Will eat there again, if schedule permits. They close at 7 pm, so if you're out doing outside activities until dark, you are going to have to find someplace else to eat. Other than that....great place to eat.
