We travel all the way from South Haven, Michigan, just to dine at Gobblers. We absolutely love their turkey dinners. The Baby Gobbler is filling enough for a great meal, allowing us to save room for their delicious desserts! Whenever we're on vacation in that area, we try different dishes at Gobblers and have never been let down. Gobblers is our favorite restaurant and definitely worth the drive!

We had the turkey dinner on May 22, 2016. After deciding to share a $13.99 meal, we were informed that splitting a dinner wasn’t allowed, which was frustrating. We should have just walked out! As seniors, we can’t eat large portions. The menu didn’t mention anything about sharing being prohibited. The turkey tasted like it was a week old, the vegetable was cold, and instead of paying $13.99, the total for two dinners ended up being $21.00.

The best turkey gravy we've ever tasted! The hamburgers are fantastic, and the carrot cake is absolutely divine.

As residents south of Traverse City, we don't get to visit as often as we'd like. Whenever we make our way to Gaylord, it's usually with the specific intention of dining at Gobblers. Their turkey dinner is unbeatable!

Nice place to eat. Servers were very nice but didn't appreciate being sat next to a table that brought their dogs into the restaurant. They fed them when servers were out of sight. I support anyone who needs a service/companion animal. That's what they are trained for and they are to aid the person not be treated like babies in a stroller. If your pets can't be left for a few hours while you go out to eat maybe you should consider take out. There are health codes that need to be followed to ensure health and safety of everyone. What if someone at my table had allergies to dogs? We were not told they were seated near us. I've worked in food service and am aware of guidelines that need to be followed by owners and patrons. Have some consideration for others when you decide to take your pet out. I am a pet owner and don't expect others to feel the same way about my pet as I do. I love him and spend time with him in our own environment.
