Situated right next to the lake it's a clean and unpretentious place where you get good service and very reasonably priced menu. A word of warning they only seem to accept cash according to the notice in the window and you need to have a smattering of basic Italian to order (or you can of course just point out menu items). It was just nice sitting next to the lake enjoying the ambience (although some might find the background radio/music a bit loud it was fine for us). The other bar alongside the lake was closed when we visited early afternoon and so the Sciamba Bar was quite busy with passing trade opening times are 10 2300hrs and there's only outside seating.

We have stopped off here a few times after walking the dog,coffee and light snacks OK,however the issue is that the couple who run the place both look so unhapp... read more We have stopped off here a few times after walking the dog,coffee and light snacks OK,however the issue is that the couple who run the place both look so unhappy and obviously do not want to be there.It makes you feel very uncomfortable, no nice experience.

The service is quick, the servings are generous (both drinks and food) and its extremely great value. Location is right on the edge of the lake and its an ideal... read more The service is quick, the servings are generous (both drinks and food) and its extremely great value. Location is right on the edge of the lake and its an ideal place for a drink after a walk or a cycle on the lake. Highly recommended for a drink and a casual meal weather permitting. No English is spoken but its relatively easy to get what you want if you have only rudimentary Italian skills.
