we are here many times and every time we say wonderfully. this time sitting on a Sunday afternoon sitting on the delicious terrace in the shade of large mango trees. the service is perfect as always and the food delicious!. we had crispy sucking pig, with fabulous chips and a spit with delicate meat. what we can say, go easy and find them out, and most likely it will also be their favorite restaurant in madeira. Visited for lunch with a friend, delightful open air dining area, unfortunately planes coming in to land overhead produce noise and kerosene fumes! Shocked and from the behavior of the manager. dined in so espeto for the first time, sat on the table and before drinks ordering or menu came a bolo de cacao and a tomato and mozzarella salat, where placed on the table. we noticed. that it happened to everyone. we drank house red, which was great, eat itpetada and picanha perfectly boiled. full taste. the staff was friendly and warm very efficient. After we asked about the bill, we noticed the two starters that arrived when we had put ourselves on the bill. in the question that we were calculated for the two plates that we did not order, hardly ate anything or have recognized from the personal or menu, this would be added automatically to the bill. we were told it is usual practice here on madeira I was here three months, it is not) we still ate some of them and would have sent it away, and the manager who did not claim that we still pay for the courts. after further explanation and we quietly said clearly, it felt very wrong and would not have chosen these dishes and rather strange, not be made aware that they have to pay for it. that is an additional €9 on each bill in the restaurant, good money scheme. fortunately I would have paid twice that I would have recognized the situation in service fees or tipps. we had a previous conversation about returning to the restaurant next week, after the second time the poor waiter went back to the manager at our suggestion with our unfortunate comments he then explained again, we did not have to pay for these dishes and we were not welcome back. all was a strange affair. our behavior was very reasonable and we were happy with all the means of life. we had been leaving, we had

Ideal stop at the airport after arrival just a few minutes away. huge places still feel comfortable. large open grill, which should be seen in the kitchen, all we had was fresh, tasty, of good quality and lots of quantity. big tw for this football night discreet viewing from the table for my husband!

Beautiful garden with tasty bark sowers and kartoffels. my waitress was really amazing, her hospitality and attention was spectacular. I don't know their names, but if the owner reads this, she deserves a reward increase! I have after mine. fly to madeira starved and they secured my day. remains fantastic. george

I went back to one of the restaurants that I like to go back to, just to delight myself with what I 'm always looking for, the regional Espetada with bone, the best meat of the piece. Always with that delicious fat that makes the meat...more tender. Extremely well seasoned and grilled. In the side dishes, the fried corn is one of the good ones that you can eat on the Island, the rest leaves something to be desired, but it is in this one and in any other one... where the side dishes are really the weak point of them all. I paid around 20€ per person, just with a few beers and coffees, which is normal in restaurants of this nature. I will come back for sure!
