We both had the Shrimp and Grits, which was above average but not great. The cheesy plastic faux cast iron skillet that it's served in definitely detracts from the dish. The sides are also served in these yacht plastic fake skillets. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Southern Comfort:
Beautiful restaurant but they have switched to “family servings.” Food was all made in bulk, nothing authentic... the casserole was suppose to be mostly hash, with veggies and cheddar. It was mostly egg and no cheese at all. Super disappointing... but beautiful place and service was great! View all feedback.

Service was great, but food was mediocre. I got chicken fried steak, and it was ok. Fried okra was pretty good. My wife got jambalaya, and again it was just ok. Our kids got cheeseburger w fries and fried chicken w fries; and, both said their food was excellent.
We went with vouchers from a Westgate tour. It was very delicious for everyone. The pricing is to be expected for a resort restaurant. They have an amazing gluten free menu. You typically can’t get wings that are gluten free but we did and they were great. Not gluten free but, their dessert was delicious too. Server was very accommodating and nice.
Friendly bartender and great food. Ice cold drafts and the pulled pork queso chips were delicious. Will definitely be back.
