What Gabrielle Johnson doesn't like about Hungry Bear Bbq #1:
The ribs were very tender, just no flavor at all. The inside had a not so good smell. The lady didn't understand what we wanted, so we had to pretty much point and try and tell her the amount we wanted. View all feedback.

Perfectly located between the mountains and away from the hustle and bustle of the Gatlinburg tourist thing. Food was great and staff was very polite. Well worth taking a minute to slow down/stop and enjoy the chicken or pull pork and sides at one of the picnic tables if the weather allows it or head inside if it doesn't.
Food was good. Had the Cades Cove sausage. Very tasty. Coleslaw was dry. Very hot outside the day we visited. Inside was warm. A few flies around. In general, we enjoyed ourselves.
The only thing that would have made it better is if they had included some BBQ sauce and utensils.
This place sucks. I went with some friends and family and it is very over priced and bland.Although the staff was very friendly.
